Challenge to Humility…How Great is Our God by Louie Giglio

I don’t know if you have ever watched this sermon by Louie Giglio “How Great is Our God” but I will say it will humble you and make you feel small in the hands of our creator.  This sermon really puts into perspective on how magnificent our savior is.

The bible begins with

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.  God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.  God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

In this sermon Louie digs deep on the universe and puts into perspective of how large the earth is compared to other planets and stars in the solar system.  This message really changed my life and reminded me of how great our God really is.  He can handle any trouble we have in our life.  The day I watched this I was in super stress mode trying to plan a wedding with really NO money.  Wedding costs now days are enough to purchase a car without payments, and I was really having a hard time letting it go and giving it to God.  God literally created the Heavens and the Earth by a breath.  He knows us all by name and loves us unconditionally.  He is going to provide for us.  Louie in the sermon talks about Canus Majoris the largest star in comparison to us, a little spec in the earth.  In the sermon he seems to talk very fast and loud but with excitement and passion in his latest research.  If you are interested in seeing this sermon I will link it.  I challenge you today to watch this and see how his greatness can really overcome your fears.  This DVD has a 5 star rating on Amazon with 308 reviews.  It is a must WATCH!
